The forged pistons, thanks to their reinforced alloys and their design, offer greater reliability compared to the stock pistons. We offer two choices of forged pistons for the assembly of your AK-1 in order to offer you the solution which will be the most adapted to your use and your budget.

AK-1 short-blocks are carefully assembled in our specialized workshop with the following components:
- Set of forged pistons
- New Subaru STI connecting rod set
- New Subaru STI crankshaft
- New connecting rod and crankshaft bearings
- New Subaru EJ25 engine block
All of our AKseries engines are identified with a serial number which is written on a unique identification plate.
